The chapter of my life working on Larry Land, a documentary in the USA, following Larry from Nth Carolina to Puerto Escondido and the things inbetween.
After a close encounter with death in Somalia, I needed to find something different as much as it was fun having pro skaterboarders come visit Kabul. Back then I was much closed off about trauma and was looking to just keep on riding.
I took on a job working on a documentary in the US and Mexico with the outlook to take a job at the UN at the end of it. It was a brief time living in New York but the skate park had been built and Afghanistan was calling me back.
Next episode is back in Afghanistan and the Congo working on a children’s TV show.
